• More energy-efficient LED lighting has been installed through the brewery
• Reduced boil duration from 65mins to 50mins
• Reduced CIP temperature 80c to 30c

Official Charity Partner to The Children's Hospital Charity
Thornbridge Brewery pledge allegiance to The Children’s Hospital Charity as an official charity partner after raising over £100,000 in recent years
We have become an official Corporate Partner with The Children’s Hospital Charity after years of raising money through our venues and sponsorship of their events and fundraisers
We have long had an affinity with fund raising and sponsorship of local charities, but The Children’s Hospital Charity is particularly close to their heart. Through various initiatives including the Bears of Sheffield, the Christmas Snowflakes campaigns, various sporting fund raisers, gala’s and incentives at Thornbridge pubs, we have quietly raised in excess of £100,000 in the past few years. These funds have directly contributed to a specific sponsored bedroom in the hospital’s award winning new wing as well as larger projects including the new Cancer and Leukaemia Ward and the new state of the art £6m Helipad which is due to be operational in early 2024.
The Children’s Hospital Charity supports the vital and world class work of Sheffield Children’s. Specifically, the monies raised through donations buys life-saving equipment, funds vital research and treatment for thousands of children from across the world and helps create comfortable, engaging environments for their patients.
Simon Webster, CEO of Thornbridge commented ‘Being born and raised in Sheffield and being a family man, I know exactly how important The Children’s Hospital Charity is to the kids and families of people from not just Sheffield, but from all over the world. This is why it is so important for us to do our bit so that the team at TCHC can continue to do theirs’.
We are so thankful for the friendship we have with Thornbridge and the Children’s, two organisations, both world class, coming together more and more to make a huge difference to the patients, families and staff who use our services. I’m looking forwards to what we can achieve together over the next few years. Tchad Western – Chief Fun Officer – The Children’s Hospital Charity
